Inauguration of Oxus / Amantaytau Goldfields (AGF) Scholarship Foundation » 26.06.2008
On 26 June 2008 at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London, the AGF / Oxus Gold Scholarship Foundation was officially inaugurated. The Foundation was established by British company Oxus Gold plc in cooperation with Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) and University of Westminster in London, The event was honoured by the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent GCVO who accepted the appointment as the first Patron of the Foundation.

The samples of clothes and other textile goods from the collection of the famous British collector Doris Rau, which is one of the biggest and significant private collections of its kind all around the world, were displayed at the exhibition.
